He was born at Big Sandy Texas to Minnie Celestine Aldridge and Mack Porter Aldridge. He is survived by a son Mark Ehl, sister Anna Katherine Pruitt, brother James L. Aldridge, two deceased brothers Billy Carlton Aldridge & Truman Aldridge.

Since November 2000 he has lived in Houston being cared by Dr. John Kolaja & his neice Shirley Jean Kolaja and Shirley's sons Joe Michael Blalack & family and Jeffrey Barry Blalack.

He has many surviving family members and dear friends, two of which are more like family (Gilda and Earl Robinson). We want to thank and remember all his friends and family.

Uncle Mack was a fine man and a great gardener. Even though he had a very weak and ill body for many years his strength and love for life carried him until now.

He will be cremated and the services will be announced later.
